I went upstairs and looked in one of my very old pattern books and it is closest to the Bethlehem star because it has the hexagon center. Which was almost exact to this block. A search on line resulted with the closest I could see was a star of david block.
My grandmother also made one like this. It is very interesting isn't it? I think like someone else said, it depends on which area you come from what the name of it is. |
