Isn't this the cutest quilt! I had so much fun making it. I haven't decided what to do with it. I think it needs to hang on my dining room wall. It was a ton of fun to make. It took longer than I anticipated. It's machine appliqued and quilted with an all over stipple.

It definitly needs to be displayed. It is too much beautiful work to hide away. For sure...hang it. It does look like a lot of fun to make and the work on it is just fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice is that your own design for the little approns. If you don't have a place for it we can take turns in sharing it.
|
These are the cutest ! How did you find the pattern or did you make them up yourself? Dining room wall would be great, as everyone can see them and admire them!

that is soooo cute! If it is your pattern, you should submit it to a magazine

Oh, how cute!!! I remember when women wore aprons all the time. A lot of days Grandma wore two--one to work with and the other in case company came by. If she saw a dust cloud coming up the lane she'd whip the dirty one off and stash it away so that when the company got there she'd look "presentable."

Love your apron quilt.
|
I absolutely LOVE this quilt!!!
|
now that's 'bout the cutest thing I've seen in a looooong time!
|
This is not my own design. The pattern is from a company called Bee in my Bonnet, designs by Lori Holt. I didn't find a website on the package but I did find the following - www.beeinmybonnetco.blogspot.com
Have fun making your aprons. If you cannot locate the pattern let me know and I'll see if I can find one for you at the shop where I purchased mine. Thanks for all your kind comments. Lee Ann |
