Oh! I got this same pattern and material when I was in Hawaii. I love it! I haven't finished, heck... I havent started, mine yet. It is so cool to see this and get a reminder that I have it!

Anyway she wanted the turtles to appear to be swimming...and seaweed in the border. I hope i accomplished that...I hope you can see in the pictures that the turtles are actually 3-D. This is such an adorable quilt...and what a great souvenir. I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA. I used hobbs poly down batting. Thanks for looking. |

I'm so happy the way this quilt turned out. My daughter and I picked out the fabrics together. (She is just as anal and as critical of her work as I am :). When I made this quilt, I knew Charisma was the one to quilt it. I could not have been happier with the results. She is truly an artist with her work. Just as most of you know, I would recommend her to anyone!!! Thanks for all the wonderful comments. I have only quilted for 2 years, and this praise is music to my ears.
