You did a fantastic job, Laura! I purchased the patterns earlier this year but haven't started working on them yet. My youngest daughter was born on Halloween and this quilt will be a gift for her. It's such a fun holiday! Thank you for sharing your quilt photos with us.

What a beautiful job on this quilt. How long did it take you to make this? Love all the detail you put in it!!

daisey 09-21-2010 02:41 PM

By the way I like the round stitching on the moon, dont tear it out!

dellareya 09-21-2010 03:00 PM

The quilt is absolutely amazing. You did a fantastic job on it.

JEM65 09-21-2010 03:08 PM

Laura, this is an amazing piece of art! I am somewhat of a Halloween junkie and this is just fabulous! I love Baltimore style quilts but do not have the patience or quilting ability to make one myself. Your quilt showcases your talent to perfection! Thanks for sharing! I think you should finish the witch with the circle stitching you have already started.

vintagemotif 09-21-2010 03:12 PM

OMG, That is adorable! This is the first Baltimore quilt pattern that I like, love the whimsical theme.

tinkerfeet 09-21-2010 03:17 PM

I love your quilt you did a amazing job. I love all of it but I really love the owl and I am not really a owl person. Again you did a amazing job.

butterflyquilter 09-21-2010 04:46 PM

I'm not into Halloween, but I love your quilt! Beautiful work.

buffy2 09-21-2010 04:50 PM

Great Love it

Jaynie 09-21-2010 04:54 PM

Luv the way you "personalized" your quilt. It is soooo cute and I like the circle quilting in the moon behind the witch. GREAT JOB!!!!

anniec55 09-21-2010 05:30 PM

That is wonderful!!!! You did an outstanding job! Was this your own pattern/creation? I love it !! You might try steam a seam lite, it holds great but easier to stitch through, "they" say it is wonderful for just this kind of applique.

Katts 14 09-21-2010 05:44 PM

LETIA 09-21-2010 05:50 PM

This is amazing! I would never try anything with that many small pieces. It is just wonderful! How long did it take you to make it?

amma 09-21-2010 06:47 PM

This is my absolute favorite Halloween quilt! I keep going back and looking at all of the details... It is stunning, you are very creative! :D:D:D

raksmum 09-21-2010 09:11 PM

Spooktacular! This is great. I would stick with the quilting you are doing around the witch. Looks great. I have been using Heat n Bond Lite for my latest appliques and I really like it. I picked mine up at Walmart.

sewingladydi 09-21-2010 09:20 PM

Your work is outstanding

SharonD 09-21-2010 10:21 PM

Love your work. It must have taken you ages to do. Do you use a fixer for your fabric before appliquing, or do you turn your edges under?

ladyredhawk 09-21-2010 11:24 PM

OMG!!!!!! i love ityou did a lot of work there

craftybear 09-21-2010 11:37 PM

I like the quilting you've done in the witch/moon block. Also, the skeletons and frogs are an awesome addition!

rootyr 09-22-2010 02:00 AM

Kudos to you. That is beautiful!

PattyH 09-22-2010 03:07 AM

My LQS has a product called "soft fuse". It comes on a roll about 36" wide or in 8-1/2 x 11 sheets. Really nice.

dgmoby 09-22-2010 03:32 AM

Awesome quilt! You are really talented :) I love applique.

I'd keep the circle quilting - it adds a unique look that's quite appropriate for the moon. I like it a lot. As a longarmer, I'm always searching for and using unique quilting patterns to add another touch of interest to special quilts. I think it really enchances a quilt. You choose well :)

Again, wonderful quilt.

steelecg 09-22-2010 03:35 AM

wonderful - I really like Soft Fuse
