Pattern by Village Fabrics UK. It is called "Batik Squares" and is similar to another pattern called floating blocks. I used 5" squares plus strips.
This is another pattern by Village Fabrics. It is called "Our Scrap Quilt" and is 60" square. Strips are 1 3/4" wide and block size is 6 1/4".
This is one of my first quilts. 5" squares by machine and hand quilted in each square. Borders are hand quilted in the grape design.

Love your quilts. And would love to see a larger picture of your avatar. It looks like Cathedral Window. That is one I've wanted to do, but other projects keep getting pushed up the 'to do' list. Can't decide if I should do it the old fashioned way - by hand, or the modern way - by machine.

I love them but the first one is my favorite. I've seen the quilt and didn't know what it was called. Thanks for pics.

I really enjoy the beauty of your creations. How many quilts have you made? Do you know? Do you still have all of them or do you give them away? You have shown us some beautiful quilts. Thank-you for sharing.

I have made lots and lots of quilts. Have about 6 here at present. and 3 in the making. The rest are given away. When I find a suitable home some of these will go. For Christmas 2009 my 2 sons got quilts. My 2 daughters already had 2 each. My niece in Galway got one last week as a wedding present. I parted with 10 small quilts for the flood victims here in Ireland earlier this year. I get the joy from making the quilts. At the start I took photos of all my quilts. Then I lapsed but now am back again taking photos.
