Very nice room. I have one of those shoe hangers on my bathroom door in here but it's full of hair junk. I could probably through it all out because I don't use it anymore and the thread idea is great. Sould sure keep it from falling on the floor all the time. Great Idea!!!!
|
Sew beautiful!!
|
Very nice Bebe - do you sew 24 hours a day? So many projects going at once!
|
Love your biblical blocks. They will make a spectacular quilt. Love the fabrics that you used and love your fabric that you bought at such a great bargin. You must have a huge stash.

Ladies thanks for the compliments. I keep pretty busy with all my BOM's.
Those Biblical blocks are very difficult it takes up to 3 hrs to make 1 block. I really got a good bargain on the repro. fabric. They are going to be used on my Dear Jane quilt as well as some of the biblical blocks. |
Retro girl when is your b'day?
|
Love your Blocks and those are some great repros!!!!!!!
|
LOL it's not until the end of Sept. But, I like to think of the entire month as mine. Oh, yeah it's only the first wk of August!! My daughters is next week and we joke with each other that it's MY birthday back and forth.

ALl of your blocks are turning out nice. I really like the bibical one, I guess since we have a nun in the family and all.
|
I really like the fabrics & the blocks. It looks like your having loads of fun
|
I thought the hangers were a stroke of genius... what a great way to store WIPs. I hate folding my quilt tops and hanging them in this way would work for me!
I had a shoe bag hung in my classroom for all my odds and ends, and when I retired in June I took it! I think it is the perfect thing to help organize my new sewing room. Clear pockets are wonderful! |
  Bebe...The road to California is very nice....You better work on your road to Mexico....

Hey gals thanks for the comps. I am busy sewing all my BOM's and 3 Saturdays a month I have classes, Dear Jane and etc. I keep busy!!
I use the wooden pant hangers to keep my blocks on. They are good because they do not mark or cause creases on your fabric. I buy them at a local thrift store. I keep plenty on hand. I also use them to take my fabric hanging when I have a class or working on a particular project and already washed and pressed the fabric. On the 21st of this month ny quilting life group at church starts again. Back to teaching ladies how to quilt. I have several UfO's I am trying to finish. Will post later!!!! I need to get a digital camera maybe Santa will be good to me :D |

Oh my, your quilts are beautiful!
I, too, use a shoe caddy - for my embroidery threads and it works great. I also use those closet hanging sweater shelves - I store fabrics in them in my closet. |
