Blue Angels need help with borders
 

I am suffering from brain fog and need your advice. This is a quilt for my other DSIL and it is a work that started one way and through talking to me (you know how that is :-) has ended up with the green sashing w/blue cornerstones to add some color and it matches the border fabric. I think the white background in the blocks is throwing me off. Here are four borders thoughts which do you like best?

i"m voting for the 4th one. love the little pop of gold to frame the quilt.

I love the blues that are in this quilt..they have such a rich look..

I like the third pic...blue.....but narrower size, green dot...maybe a bit wider and then floral.

I really like that dark green dot fabric, I wish my LQS carried it. As far as your borders, I think I like the last pic the best. The narrow gold fabric brings life to the whole quilt, and is framed nicely by the darker fabrics to either side! It's going to be gorgeous whichever one you choose!

This is a beautiful quilt and whatever you pick will be wonderful....I like the dk. green larger dots followed by the floral.

Yes to gold frame and floral border. I could go either way on the green vs. blue. Beautiful fabrics!

I also like the last one best. The gold really set it off especially with the gold in the border. Very pretty quilt.

I like #1 or 3, don't personally care for the gold. Didn't you know you would get different answers? That's because all of them are good borders, so go with what appeals most to you.

I like the second and last ones. For me it would depend on what size I needed the quilt to be. I think the gold ties the blocks an border together more.

The first one.

I like the last one best. The thin gold strip seems to bring out the colors in the floral piece. BTW they are all pretty and will be ok whichever you choose.

Loved the first. Then saw the third and loved the third. Oh...choices

I kept going back and forth as I'm sure you are doing! I really like the 3rd one but maybe have the 1st blue not as wide. I didn't like the gold in the 2nd pictures but I did like it in the 4th picture...so that is my 2nd choice! Very pretty quilt.

I prefer the 1st one, the gold doesn't seem to "relate" to the rest of the fabrics. IMHO

the last pic is so inclusive of all the colors in the floral border that it blends the whole thing together. they are all lovely, just like the flow of the last pic. I think it is the way it makes the gold stand out in the floral print, otherwise it kind of fades. Good Luck

My first pick would be the first one. The last picture is ok too but like the first one better. Very pretty. Love that angel fabric!

Ooooh... that is a tough one. I like #'s 1 & 3 the best, I think. Tho I think all of them are nice. I can't wait to see this done. Are the angels printed squares?
