pattern calls for two more borders. I am not sure if it needs them but if I do what green for the small border?
Oh my goodness that is stunning, I say border.
show us the border u are thinking od putting on????
Beautiful quilt! I don't think it needs borders, unless you just want it to be a little bigger. It looks pretty big already. I love your design and colors. :-D :-D
Yes it is pretty big already
Go with your preference, I always like a border
I like at least the green border, great colors, love it.
Here's another vote for borders. I think they frame the quilt nicely and give it a nice finished appearance.
I like to have borders too ... I like the center green for the smaller inner border.
I like both borders
Yes, a border!! Borders take the most punishment and your quilt is soooooo beautiful I'd like to see it last forever or at least be easy to repair!! I always vote for a border!!
I'm thinking the green that you are showing at the bottom. It looks like it's color is in between the other two and matches really well.
Stunning! I say on border.
You have a beautiful quilt and IMHO the double border would frame your masterpiece!
From what I can see, the green is different shades from top to bottom with the bottom being the middle shade, which would be my preference. Pops enough, but not too much. The darker one doesnt show enough, and the light one too bright ... though that could be totally different IRL. And then the outer, yes the dark burgundy! |
I like the 2 borders myself, though it is a beautiful quilt and it looks pretty without it too.
I vote for borders, both of them, as they seem to balance the whole look of the quilt better than without.
Binding would be enough for my taste, but a border would look great too. I prefer the darker marbled green at the top for the border.
Absolutely gorgeous quilt.
I vote for borders! Great way to finish off that lovely top! :)

I love old fashioned looking patterns with no borders, but this wonderful design will look more finished with the two borders. |
The green as a border and use the brown for binding
I like the borders too....hard to decide which green though. Both would look great. Awesome quilt.
Love this quilt! And yes, borders! My preference is actually for the darker green...but which ever you choose it will look really nice!
I don't think it needs borders. However, I'd be tempted to put a cream border next to the pieced border to make it stand out better.
I vote for the green border...the meduim shade green.
Beautiful quilt!!! |
Beautiful! What is the name of the quilt?
I like it with the reddish color to be the last border. That is a BEAUTIFUL quilt!

Love it, and I do think it needs unpieced borders pull it together.
Yup, borders it is. Fantastic quilt, by the way.
Beautiful. I say add a border.
No border. I see your 7700 under the Janome cover. Don't you just love it?
Stunning quilt. Who does the pattern for that quilt, or is it your own? |
I like how you have it with all the green fabric in the picture and the red between them. Maybe you can sew a red square between them and use all three green for the border.
Wow! I love it!
I like the borders I think you should add them.
Yes I do have the 7700 and I love it. The pattern came out of the April issue of the American Patchwork & Quilting magazine. The designer is Bev Getschel
Very pretty.
I vote for border. To me borders provide the framing to display the works of art ... which is our quilts
Beautiful quilt. Of the choices, I would say the darker green for a border to frame your masterpiece.
Borders!!!!
