alikat110 07-03-2011 01:53 PM

(((kick))))

debcavan 07-03-2011 01:54 PM

Sorry can't kick you. I understand. But keep saying, I will be able to use it when it is all finished. It might help you cut into it.

Katia 07-03-2011 01:54 PM

I would kick you but I am having the same problem. I bought a big bunch of Lila Tueller fabric and it came all folded nicely even with a bow. And there is still sits. But it is just so pretty as it is. I hate to mess it up.

grandmajuki 07-03-2011 01:55 PM

kick...kick....kick...
How much prettier it will be in a quilt!!!
judy
Now stop wasting time and get busy!!

Did that work???

Ramona Byrd 07-03-2011 01:56 PM

Just as my dear late MIL asked me when I put up the good china because of the baby, "Who are you saving it for? His next wife?"

Think about it. YOU get the good out of it...not anyone else.

AngieS 07-03-2011 01:58 PM

That will be an awesome quilt when you get it finished! So consider yourself KICKED!!!!!! So, get hopping and cut that fabric!!!! :hunf:

Did that help?

love the quote!

The fabric is pretty, but the quilt will be stunning

I have the same problem. There is some fabric that's been in my stash for years. I take it out now and then and pet it. I'm happy.

np3 07-03-2011 02:06 PM

I have done that so many times! But that pattern will make up beautifully as well so get cutting!

craftybear 07-03-2011 02:08 PM

Craftybear

np3 07-03-2011 02:10 PM

Are you cutting yet?

MaryAnnMc 07-03-2011 02:12 PM

JUST DO IT!!!!! Once you make the first cut it will be easier to cut the rest. Don't think about it, just grab that cutter and go.

Quilted Dogs 07-03-2011 02:19 PM

I am kicking you to get started, if you don't.....I will send a "Packer football player", he will kick you and then you will be so far gone I will have to come and get the material......KICK, KICK from Wisconsin....

tutt 07-03-2011 02:21 PM

DO IT!! You'll get to enjoy it more when it's made up and you or someone you love can wrap up in it!!

Cherylsea 07-03-2011 02:23 PM

The pieces will be large enough for each beautiful piece to be recognizable but you will be able to snuggle with it! Go ahead and cut - you will be happy with the result.

butterflies5518 07-03-2011 02:58 PM

yeah, so proud you did it!

blueangel 07-03-2011 02:59 PM

I know what you mean

StitchinJoy 07-03-2011 03:03 PM

It's okay. Sometimes fabric needs to age a bit, like a good wine or a fine cheese.

Go work on something else. But keep it where you can see it and fondle it. You'll know when it's ready to cut.

katier825 07-03-2011 03:06 PM

It will be much prettier in a quilt than on a shelf in the closet. Cut it!

dinlauren 07-03-2011 03:06 PM

Oh what a beautful quilt that will make....do it, do it , do it........lol.........i finally opened the charm pack i bought a few months ago...that's a start. Good luck

Jingle 07-03-2011 03:10 PM

It is very beautiful fabric, I do not blame you..I have some fabric that every time I go to cut it, I will put it back..

Rose Cactus 07-03-2011 03:19 PM

I know the feeling.

ontheriver 07-03-2011 03:23 PM

I can totally understand, the fabric is beautiful, but so is the quilt. Just think how lovely it will be when it is done. So get to cutting!

PurplePassion 07-03-2011 03:56 PM

Just think how much you will enjoy the quilt, when it is done. That fabric is beautiful.

Foxflower 07-03-2011 04:03 PM

Do you have enough to save yourself a nice wide strip or block from each to pet? Or, maybe you don't really want to use it in that pattern? If I don't have just the right project for the fabric then I can't bring myself to use it either. I see that the fabric matches the pattern, but it doesn't matter if you aren't absolutely in love with it.

QUILTNMO 07-03-2011 04:04 PM

my theroy is once i cut it i know i can go buy more fabric lol just do it

just_the_scraps_m'am 07-03-2011 04:06 PM

i would have the same trouble--
can't wait to see what you made!

emsgranny 07-03-2011 04:12 PM

I understand!! Bit since you have the pattern for it and can actually visualize how beautiful it will look made up - DO IT. My problem I have some fabrics that I love and dont know what to do with it yet lol

mzmama 07-03-2011 05:05 PM

You can do it....

Mariposa 07-03-2011 05:08 PM

Pretty fabrics.......just think what a lovely quilt will look like in those fabrics!

Quiltgranny 07-03-2011 05:52 PM

Maybe you should be using the "Just Can't Cut It" pattern.
