Using 2.5 unfinished squares the quilt would be 60" across.

Sorry--I must have missed this question. It is not hanging top to bottom in the picture (the fence wasn't tall enough!). The quilt wound up 72" x 90" using the 3 1/2" squares (8 blocks wide x 10 blocks long). Using 2 1/2" squares, it would be (gotta run get the calculator) 48" x 60" (8 blocks wide x 10 blocks long).

Thanks to everyone for the kind words--this was a fun quilt to make. :)

Thanks, that helps me get an idea of the final size.

Thank you, AZ Jane. That gives me a visual as to the size.

I really love your quilt. I have just discovered Bonnie Hunter and love her quilts!

I do like the idea of using the larger size squares; sure would make it go faster!

Beautifully done!

Your quilt is lovely! Inspirational, as it had to be started immediately. I'm cutting from my 2 1/2" strips box, so will have 6" blocks. How about chains in different colors - a red one, a blue one, etc. and maybe the light chains will all be the same. Whatever, it will be fun!

Sounds great! Be sure to show us a picture--I'd love to see different color chains. :)
