I like that Tippy. :) Mrs. Claas I'd love to see yours too. I thing these things are the neatest! I have one that I had someone make for me. She mailed it to me after I picked out I what fabric I wanted and paid for it.

OK.. I made that carrier specifically to fit that Pyrex Refrigerator dish.. the dish is 9" x 9" and 4" high. I made the inner wrap 35" long by 10" wide and the outer "carrier wrap" is about 40" by 10".
Those measurements are pretty much what you end up with also, as I bind mine instead of turning them.
The tutorial is going to be along those lines, and I hope to give you the basics so you can add your own variables. Like velcro, versus ties.. and handle options.

thanks that is so cool

A great gift would be a cake pan, even a tinfoil one, inside one of these carriers, with cookies, brownies, or whatever, in the pan. Using a tinfoil "cake pan", adding a box of cake or brownie mix to the pan, all wrapped up in a carrier would be an easy gift to mail.
Wooden spoons with the bowl end pointing out on each side should minimize the handle slippage.
(Tippy, are you feeling pressure now from most of us waiting for your tutorial? :o) )

Nah.. I plan on starting it after the weekend. I want to make a few more anyway and will get my roomie to play photographer for me so it's not that much more work to do the tute as I go..
I'm very flattered that others are interested.
