I'd love to make one of these myself. What a neat job you have done. I love the fact you have handles on the top, sure gives it more support for carrying.

Tippy, what a wonderful thing you are doing ..... going to the time and trouble of doing a tute for all of us. This will be the Christmas gift to give in 2011 :D
|
I made some of those years ago and made a "pocket" under the inside where the 2 strips of fabric intersect and hubby cut masonite to slide in under the casserole and supported very well. Able to remove it and the dowel rods for washing.

I use the 9x13 dishes a lot and would have to adjust for that size. I would love to know how to make them. Thanks Tippy. :)

Wooden spoons with the bowl end pointing out on each side should minimize the handle slippage. (Tippy, are you feeling pressure now from most of us waiting for your tutorial? :o) ) I'm very flattered that others are interested. |
Love your project and waiting for the tutorial.

I made one similar. I put a board in the bottom for stability. (slides out for washing) Pockets on the front and back for pot holders

Great idea!

Love the design, easy and adjusts to different sizes of pans. I am always nervous about glass slipping and sliding, so I would put some velcro strips on the first flaps.

Aren't they fun to make ?I made five last week for gifts. And have several to make when the holidays are over. I boughta king size quit for $18.00 and a dear frined and I split it. It worked great and really took down the cost of them. I have some scraps I'm going to use to make some of the others.
