Thanks for the link to the tutorial! I have been collecting books, patterns, and videos in prepration to begin one, that is the best! The pics are so clear, instructions so easy to manage, and I thought that swapping out a piece of freezer paper for the 9 inch square,it wouldn't move around while you were pressing the corners.
You are a very good person for sharing that!!!!!! |
Very pretty are you sewing it by hand?
|
Thanks, I'll be sure to check that out!

I have a book on it but I found a great site:
http://hyena-in-petticoats.blogspot....-tutorial.html I am doing 10 windows across and I think 12 row, not sure yet. The fabric I am using is called "The Nest" by Tula Pink for Moda. The funny thing is I didnt realize what the name was, my Mom picked it out for the colors. I call my sewing room my nest because Robin is my first name...lol. The quilt is going to be for my mother. I am going to have to come up with something clever for the quilt label. |
Are you using the 9" square and 2 1/2" window that's on the site you linked to? I'm going to have to give this a try sometime. Also, are you doing it with or without the 2 1/2" square of batting?

VERY INPRESSED I WANT TO MAKE ONE BY MACHINE IS THAT WHAT YOU ARE DOING?

I love it....it looks super....you definitely have talented hands....I envy your work.

It is growing even more beautiful since your last post. As I said before, I love Cathedral window quilts...sigh...maybe I could try a small wall hanging size. You are doing a great job...cant wait to see it finished.
