My mother (84) still uses a table cloth my grandmother made for her 40years ago. I have an apron with a black poodle on it that she made for me - I'm getting some gingham on Monday to make the beautiful star design for myself. At this time of year I use many things that belonged to my grandmothers and this technique has sparked another wonderful memory for me. Thank you - I'll get her sewing machine out to finish off my project too!!!
I'm in Australia - isnt this board great, it shows we have many things in common all over the world. Merry Christmas everyone!! |
This is one of my projects from long, long ago.
