I am happy that everyone loved their quilts. After they learned that I started quilting, they were hoping that I had their name for Christmas. I have only been quilting a year in Oct. I did a count in my head and I think I came up with around 20 quilts. Luckily not all full size. I have done at leave 2 baby quilts and several lap quilts. I have learned from all of them. There have only one or two that have broken my heart to give away. Most have gone to family so I get to visit any time I want. It isn't even that they all about my favorite things. They are as varied as the people that they went to. All of that and I have one lonely halloween lap quilt that is the only one I can call mine. And my kids steal it on a regular basis. That is why I am making them all a lap quilt.

Feathers, I would love to put you on my list. Unfortunatly it is a long one. for this year already I have 10 quilts on that list. That is if nothing else comes up.

I would also like to thank everyone on their compliments. Even though I like what I see in the end, I am never sure what others are going to think. I love quilting, the hardest part most of the time is making it fit the reciever. I try to match the quilt to the person. These all went to BC. To people I don't see a lot of. They are family luckily. I seem to hit them well. For this summer I have asked for a list of favorites from everyone. Color, animal, something that I can focus on.

All I can figure is that you must not need much sleep! And, that the creative juices are always flowing at your house. I love all of your creations---what a lucky family you have!

I don't sleep a lot. Not on a regular basis anyway. I grew up with my mom sewing, knitting and crocheting all the time. She encouraged us to follow our head and not what others told us. Even know with my own kids I encourage them to follow their imaginations. Who knows if in their world the skies aren't green or purple. Pink with yellow polka dots. my imagination doesn't have an off button either. Even though I have 10 quilts on the list of things to do, I have ideas for a dozen or more in my head, that aren't on the list. I have probably forgotten twice that since I started quilting. Some days it drives me nuts because it won't stop. there is no way to turn it off. I just plug away at what I do. I don't have a regular job right now either so that helps me have time to do all of that. I do a lot of embroidery work on the side as well. I have a really nice embroidery machine. When I have time I will take more pics of my sewing space. I took over the garage when we moved into this house. It is a pretty sweet set up. My husband knew though that if I didn't take over the garage that it would end up all over the house. I need an little more organization so if any one wants to come and help with that I am game.

Count me in on the organization help then you can come to my house and help me with my organizing! You have a garage to organize, I have a 5 bedroom house with full basement! Yikes, I think I'm making a good deal here. LOL

You bet, when can I expect you. No chance that you live close to Edmonton Alberta eh?

What a kind heart you have. You put a lot of thought in the quilts to
try and match them to the people and then did such a nice job.
Keep up the good work, you little worker bee, you.
