Very nice. I have not seen a bluejean cathedral window before and I really like it. You have done a wonderful job here. Thank you for sharing.

valleyquiltermo 10-30-2011 05:40 PM

Great I love sewing with blue jeans. What method did you use for the windows?

jennifer winters 10-30-2011 05:41 PM

I see what you mean about the different colors in it now...

did you do a small zig-zag around 1/2 moons??

jmabby 10-30-2011 05:56 PM

Now I know. My daughter has a bunch of jeans she wants to get rid of, now I know that I want to make a quilt like yours. Sure is great. Is this a OWB??

How neat! That's great. Love the fabrics you chose for the windows. I have a similar pattern marked in a magazine to make some day...this one was done in flannel. Great job!

Harmony 10-30-2011 06:01 PM

Love it! Inspired!

Hey that is really impressive. I like to look at things with a different eye. I wouldn't have thought of denim for this. but I like what you did. It is really neat. I can see it in many different places.

hperttula123 10-30-2011 06:39 PM

quilter68 10-30-2011 07:04 PM

This quilt is a beauty and a good sewing job. A lot of work.

fleurdelisquilts.com 10-30-2011 07:05 PM

I love the look of a blue jeans quilt, but isn't it a bit rough for a quilt? I've seen several on this board, but honestly, I can't imagine it being soft for a long time. Of course, with boys, I guess I should get over it and start collecting their old jeans.

Bonbonary 10-30-2011 07:35 PM

Good job. Thanks for the close up pics.

Did you find any secrets to cutting out the circles? Did you just draw them on the jeans with ink? I LOVE your quilt

cedarvalleyquilts 10-31-2011 03:59 AM

Thanks for the closeup (and links to all who shared). I've bookmarked everything....this is one I definitely want to try.

Great quilt!

That would be a cute quilt for my great grands. Made with denim and their grandad's plaid shirts.

shirley35 10-31-2011 04:43 AM

Very nice quilt. Do you find this very heavy? My mother made one for me and it's too heavy for me to use.
