i vote for #2

Both are nice. I like #2
I think #2 is the best.
I like them both. #1 is unique for me though because the design shifts and seems to move as I look at it. Not many patterns do that. :)

I like #2

1 looks phsycodelic.. did i spell that right?
I like 2, 1 makes my eyes go funny.

No. 2

I like 2, but here's another suggestion; you could turn some of them for a traditional barn raising layout.
I like two
Oh like # 1 because of the graduating diamonds.
I like the second one

I love them both. Option 1 really features the fabrics. The advice of a white center and continuous stripes radiating from the center would also showcase your strips.
I like one, two looks kinda blah to me. Just my opinion.
I like #2.
The first one makes my eyes hurt. The second one is way more restful.
I like #1. I agree with trying different ways for the layout, you would be surprised. :)
Either is very pretty. I like what you done on the first set thou. This is so pretty.

Wow, I love them both; but I think #1 stands out more. Good luck!

The other day, I started arranging the blocks on my design wall in the #1 pattern,
when my daughter (who picked #2) walks in the room, looks at the wall, and says, "Mom, I thought we discussed this."  I just had to try it to see and  WOW , it did make my eyes hurt! I tried option #3 and just really didn't like the look of it either. So... so much for being daring! It's going to be #2, without the random "scrappy" block look. I'll post pictures when I get the top done. Thanks for all your great suggestions! |
I like #2

#2! #1 makes me dizzy.

#2.. number one looks weird to me..
I like #1 because it looks like it's radiating outward. I would add borders too!
I like #2 better, but they both are good. I have done several of these tube quilts and found that I liked playing with the placements when I had the blocks made.
I really like #1. Very different......looks more illusional. Love it!
just as you have them displayed here in QB I like the top one. However....I can picture the second one with some really nice quilting done in a 'color' thread and possibly have every other plain square done in a different quilt pattern. I think that would be awesome....hence... I would go with the second!!!!
I really like the lst one. Think it would be an interesting quilt.
Well, there are really very many options you could have with these blocks, but since you only gave us two to choose from I'm going with #1. Good luck!!!
You might keep trying designs (there are several possibilities) and find one you are SURE is right! Very nice blocks.... lots of ways.... hmmmm.
#1 makes me dizzy, really like #2
# 2 is my vote!
There is something about #1 that I love. With that said, I also agree with some of the other opinions that once you have the blocks done, there will be more options that come up.
