I started making counted crosstitch stockings for my family 23 years ago. There are 9 of us now and Il have the 9th one in progress. When I have it completed I need to start looking for another pattern for a new arrival next year. Hope you enjoy looking at the completed ones.

Absolutely beautiful!! I can see the many hours of stitching in each one, but the detail and love in each stitch must make it worthwhile and a heirloom treasure!
these will be so cherished. My MIL made one for all of us. and they are put up each year amazing work she did and we get the pleasure of thinking of her daily during Christmas!1
You do beautiful handwork :D:D:D
Those are absolutely stunning. And just think of all the years and years that those will be hung up to be enjoyed again.
Wow, look at the detail!! I made a couple, but mine don't look 1/2 as good. Beautiful!!
That's a lot of stitching, and you've done a terriffic job! They are real keepsakes!
Beautiful. A lot of work.
Beautiful work. Many years ago I was going to make beautiful Christmas Stockings for my children and I never did. they are all adults now and I have not cross-stitched in about 10 years (since I started working)
They are breathtaking. I do counted X stitch sometimes but never anything so intricate and involved. I appreciate the many, many hours you put into them. What wonderful family treasures.
Very beautiful! I love them.
They are absolutely gorgeous! It was always my intention to do cross-stitched stockings too but I procrastinated too long and now my addiction is quilting. (Not to mention my eyesight isn't what it used to be!)
beautiful work and i know how tedious it can be keep up good work
Wow! Those are really pretty!
Those are beautiful;what lucky family members.
Those are beautiful! I like how they are all different. I did a lot of counted cross stitch at one time & got away from it when my kids were little- maybe it's time to get back to it!
Beautiful! Love the one with the deer!
Those are wonderful, I do cc and know how many hours you put into those!!
Happy Holidays! |
They are gorgeous! Nice work!
They are beautiful!
So beautiful. They are one lucky bunch of family members.
I have my first grandson celebrating his 1st Christmas and that was my plan for him. Well, it never worked out. So.......I will be starting on one in February and then I will be sure to have it for his second Christmas |
Works of art to be treasured forever.... bj
Those are from Just Cross Stitch, aren't they? I made 2 in the series and started another. Really need to finish it up.
Wow!!! They are so beautiful. What treasures!!!
All of these are fantastic. I have made a few of those myself (love to do when I have "time" ha ha) :-D
I do counted cross stitch and have done a few stockings, but none as beautiful as yours! I love them!
Absolutely gorgeous! I think my eyes would be crossed after that!
Wow, these are an incredible amount of work and you did a really beautiful job!
Beautiful.
Those are all beautiful! My mom made one from that series for my son and I always meant to make a couple from the series for DH and me, never got around to it.
As a cross-stitcher, I well know the hours you spent to make these absolutely beautiful stockings. What keepsakes! Hummm, I think they need labels, just like quilts!
I cross stitch myself and I can appreciate the time and effort that went into each stocking. Your stockings are beautiful. I have all of the Better Homes and Gardens stocking patterns if there are any that you'd like, since you need to make one more. I'm not sure but I think the last one is a gardening shed. Just let me know, I can make copies and send them to you. :D
They are inspiring!!! Have purchased manufactured cross-stitched stockings online for some of our grandchildren, but they don't compare to yours. Where did you get the patterns, please?
Excellent!
Wow very pretty you are very talented!
Wow :-D
Gorgeous! I recognize some of those patterns!
I've made 6 although there are only 5 of us. I originally made DH's really simple and when the rest were done, it looked out of place. So I made him a new one. The first two I made while on bedrest with my twin girlies and the others as the family grew/changed. |
i hope the reciepients love them, what beautiful gifts.
Those are absolutely beautiful!!! What a wonderful treasure to create for your family. I know there are 100s of hours in those - one question, how are your fingers? Gorgeous work. Thanks for sharing. Blessing on the new addition.
Beautiful work! Those are to be cherished for years to come! Your family should be proud!
