Its beautiful! Dag that's a lot of jeans, and I'm sure very heavy. Such a wonderful gift.

I agree, this is the best denim quilt I have ever seen. What a treasure!

I see why your grandson is crazy about your quilt. It is fabulous! I like the way you did the border. I have a denim quilt and it keeps me toasty warm. Thanks for sharing your picture.

What a great up-cycling quilt project. I can see why your grandson loves it. Wonderful job.

What a beautiful denim quilt. It is the best one I have ever seen. I can tell it was a lot of work.

BTW, I recently did a denim quilt. May I suggest that you get a large supply denim or leather machine needles? The weight of the quilt when sewing sometimes will pull your needle and bam you have a broken needle.

Good luck with the quilting. Oh, and be sure to get a supply of Bengay or other muscle soreness reducer because your upper shoulders and arms are going to get very sore. My husband would use the massager on my neck, shoulders and arms after a session at the sewing machine and boy did I need it!

That is truly outstanding. My bottom jaw just dropped when the pic came up. NEVER, EVER thought of doing a jeans quilt in that manner. You are a genius!! And an artiste!

Beautiful job piecing, I love the border that you choose to make. There are a lot of seams to deal with in quilting so I would choose to use a walking foot or dual feed foot to do straight lines for the quilting. Just a thought, have fun quilting. Remember the more quilting the softer the quilt.
