Yes, this. |
Yes I see it and by all means call your LA and she should give it back to you so you can fix it.... however if it is on the table already, then ask her if she can fix it.

I know we are our own worst critics. It took me a few minutes to find it. It is a beautiful quilt. It doesn't look like it is diffcult to fix. I am currently making a Bargello which is done in 9 sections. The pattern is called Shields. I made a mistake on one of them but is is ballanced and the piece doesn't look bad, No one would be able to find it except a quilter. So left it the way it is.
Oh the trials and trib's of a quilter. (a bit of humer) Lowell ;) :) |
I see it but had to look closely to find it. It doesn't just jump out at you...........at least it didn't to me. Your choice as to what to do........whatever you can feel comfortable with.

Since it's on the edge it would be easier to fix, so since it's a wedding gift I would fix it.

the mistake is quite clear |
I made a mistake once on a quilt for a nephewand his wife, and a neice saw it right off, pointed it out to everyone (I wasn't there, I'd already given it away) and after that it was the talk of the family. After a year I asked for it back and I'll fix it, but the original recipient doesn't want it back... it's tainted forever for all of them. I intend to fix it and use it for dh and myself.
I'd fix it !!!!!! I'm making an entirely different style of quilt for them, after talking to them about style and favorite colors. |
I would call the quilt maker and tell her about it. She will prabable want to leave it as is, but I feel she should be made aware of it. I think it gives the quilt character!

I agree with the folks that are saying if it really bugs you that you should fix it. Otherwise, it could be your "humility block"
