A marriage does not have to be perfect to be beautiful!

Noooooo, don't change it. The quilt is gorgeous as it is. To me a little mistake only makes the quilt more personable and shows that you are only human. Your nephew and his bride will treasure the quilt because you made it.

I would fix it if possible. Like the suggestion of letting the quilter do it.

Yes, I see it. It could be your "humble block". But if you want to fix it, call the longarmer ASAP! It is a beautiful top and I doubt anyone but another quilter would notice.

Yep, I see it -- I'd probably fix it if it hasn't been quilted.

it is beautiful!!!

It's such a beautiful quilt, with such a pretty color combo, and it looks like a lot of work, so I would probably fix them before I sent it to be quilted. It will be too late then, and you will regret it.

It is an absolutely beautiful quilt !! I have done that lots of times and I personally say it is easy to correct at this time and I think you will be much happier if you fix it now or ask the quilter how much she would charge to fix it and see if it is worth paying her to do it. It is just a matter of a little ripping and resewing and rearranging. Easy Easy fix.

It's an absolutely beautiful quilt, mistake or no mistake. Only you can decide what you may or may not want to do.

Prism99 10-10-2011 12:41 PM

Let it be. IMO, it adds to the charm of the quilt!!!
