Some of you know that my DMIL was suffering from Alzheimer's. She passed away quietly last Friday. DMIL was a quilter. I am sorry for your loss. Alzheimer's is awful. What a lovely tribute to her to display her quilts. When my gramps passed, we displayed alot of his tools and his different sewing machines that he had worked on. I have one of his old 15-91's.

What a beautiful memorial....Alzheimer's is a horrible disease...it robs a family of a family member sometimes many years before the actually die..I know my mother has been in a nursing home for 2 yrs and knows nothing..also a dear friend lived 7 yrs the same way

What a wonderful way to celebrate her! sorry for your loss. But she not gone she's just left the room. I'm sure she is wrapped in a quilt of love and compasion from the love of God.
