I like colored star centers, gives my eye a place to center.

They are both great, but #1 is my fav. Although #2 leaves alot of room for quilting designs :)

I like the first one, more color.

Both quilts look fantastic, but I am more drawn to the first one with color in the center of the stars!

What I do to figure things out before I start...
 

Been too many times that I though, "Oh, I have enough to do that." and didn't. I figure up exactly how to make it and exactly what fabric I need. I haven't done the stars yet to figure out cutting of the FQ set but EQ7 says it needs 2 1/4 yds of the colors for the stars with the colored center and the set has 10 FQs so that should be enough but can't be sure until I actually figure up how to cut them.
