I think I would make a kaleido quilt and then back it with this fabric, so either side I was looking at something awesome.

Use it as the backing of a great Egyptian inspired top.

Don't cut it up! Build a quilt around it! I made a quilt for my nephew, my Hubster loved the fabric and didn't want me to cut it up...so I didn't! :) That fabric is BEE-UTIFUL!

Who made the fabric I want to know, where can i get some too

I used "Just Can't Cut It" for some fabric I couldn't cut up. I think its from All Washed Up. And I'm doing "Blooms" from Calico Printworks for some large print I can't bear to cut into pieces! Good luck, its really great fabric.

It's magnificent material. I'd be doing wide borders with some of it fussy cut as centre panels for the blocks within the quilt. I would try to keep the blocks in the decorative style of the Egyptian period as well. For example, radiating lotus paterns like the top of their columns in the hypostyle halls or actually have them looking like they were hieroglyphs on certain sections. You have a challenge - good luck with it.

Oh that is beautiful! I would make myself a blazer with it. What a great conversation piece.
