I hope my Wally World is one getting fabric back.

Yesterday was the first time I'd been in a Walmart in ages. They had a huge isle of precuts--jelly rolls and 2 yard cuts of flannels, cottons, duck cloth. There was no cutting station. Perhaps this will be the new trend--to offer it for sale prepackaged?

I am sooooo happy. We have had fabric at the Chilton County store by the bolt but were told that we would be loosing it next year. That would mean a 50 mile drive one way to either a Jo-annes or a Hancocks. Yipeee

Here Wal Mart was the place to go. The fabric offered now does not allow for us quilters to use much imagination. So when you said what you did, you spoke for millions of us nt there. Thank God for you. We will be waiting with baited breath.

The Daphne, AL Wal-Mart just remodeled and had their grand reopening this past week. Only fabric they have is one aisle of the pre-cut stuff. I wonder how long it will take them to get the regular fabric department back?

From what we were told in the Shareholders Meeting, Wal Mart will return to the bolts of fabric with full cutting stations.
