I love the purple waves. It might be that the "not hanging straight" is a visual affect from the way the purple waves?

Oh my! You are a wonderful quilter. They are both just gorgeous!
|
Both beautiful. Purple Waves looks straight to me - maybe you have to be there to see whether it's hanging straight. Is it just because of the 'wave' in the pattern?
Where did you get the pattern for Purple Waves? I think I might have to make one like it - it's so wonderful! |
Wowser they r beautiful!
|
Both awesome quilts. I especially like the first one, so scrappy looking. I'm going to check about finding the magazine.

I recently stumbled on that magazine, Australian Patchwork and Quilting. I love it. It has a lot of different quilt ideas. Most not too difficult. I am just finishing a wall hanging from there. Will post pictures later. I plan on subscribing to the magazine as soon as my budget allows.
I love your quilts. I am going to search on line for that issue. |
Both are just gorgeous. Great work.
|
Beautiful quilts!

Wow! A lot of work!
|
WOW!!!! Fabulous quilts!
|
They are both beautiful. Great job.
For the Purple Waves, try measuring it while it's hanging. Maybe it's just an optical illusion that it's not straight.

Purple Waves is ready to sandwich except when I hung it up to take the photo it doesn't seem to be hanging straight. Don't know how to go about correcting the problem. Can you help? Both these patterns were in Australian Patchwork and Quilting Annual 2009. Thanks for looking. |
I wish I could think outside the box like this. these are beautiful.
|
The top one really caught my eye! Both of beautiful pieces of work.
