Beautiful work!
Awesome! Send them both over to me when you have the chance. |
measure it several places on the width and the length. it may just be the 'wavy' pattern that is throwing your eye!
Beautiful quilts. You did a great job. I am sure not that advanced in my quilting. But, it looks to me that the border looks crooked on one side. May be why it is not laying flat. Could be you have too long of a piece on that side. Just a guess on my part tho.

Those quilts are stunning! You have a real talent.

Stunning quilts :D:D:D

Did you square all your blocks before you put them together? Did you measure before adding borders? How much is it out of square? It maybe too late to correct it unless you are willing to take it apart. Both are really pretty.
STOP! Stop everything else and finish these two lovely quilts. Oh my goodness! Beautiful work. Fancy Feathers & Purple Waves, I will dream about them. Thanks for sharing.
Is it possible Purple Waves really is pretty square and what you think is not hanging straight is really an optical illusion ?
No. 1 is No 1! Both great.
They are both lovely but I'm partial to the purple waves. Good job on both of them.

Purple Waves is ready to sandwich except when I hung it up to take the photo it doesn't seem to be hanging straight. Don't know how to go about correcting the problem. Can you help? Both these patterns were in Australian Patchwork and Quilting Annual 2009. Thanks for looking. Beautiful work  Billy |

Fancy Feathers is Fantastic! I would love to try to make something that included those feathers. Are they applique? Where can I learn to do that part. A pattern or website?
