Hello everyone!! I have been lurking around for a while now, watching and learning and enjoying all the pictures of everyones wonderful creations! So i finally got the nerve to trying posting a pic of my own. This is a t-shirt quilt I made a couple years ago for our local Relay for Life. It is made from donated tshirts from previous years. I was so proud whe it was auctioned off for a whopping $475!!!!! Hope you like it!!!

Welcome aboard. That's a great quilt and a wonderful donation. Not being a tshirt person I've never tried one of these. My quilting instructor makes them for people all the time but I've never even done anything I had to use a stabilizer on. You go, girl, great job!

Very nice! Congrats on it bringing so much money. That had to have made you feel good. I'm thinking about doing one and donating it our search and rescue group as a fund raiser. I'm just so afraid my stuff wouldn't be good enough. You did excellent!

Welcome! I was afraid to post my first picture, too, but I quickly discovered that I got so many lovely comments from the quilters on this board that now my first thought on finishing a quilt it "yay- I can post a picture'.
