You did an Awesome job. Didn't notice that the star are crooked. The stars in the sky aren't all straight either. Don't tell any one that they are crooked. Looks like it should be this way. Love the pattern. Was it hard to do?

It was really not hard to do, just different 6" blocks and on top the bearheads. I have an embroidery machine that did that part. Then framing with a bow at the bottom that it looks like a bed, set it into an attic window, sashing and borders and that was it. On the next one I will go for either the bedframe or the attic window. I think both together are too much. I am a very new quilter and with the help of this board I just keep trying things and most of the time they are not half as hard to do as they look like. Would love to see your bears in bed. |

There is no pattern. I went with 6" blocks mainly from quilterscache and the bears are machine applique from allstitching.com. I put an extra piece of batting under each blanket and I like the puffy effect. The stars are a bit crocked but it is the first time I made handapplique and I think it looks charming that way. Sadly the blue top thread from the FMQ came through to the bottom. But the quilt is not washed yet and if i am lucky it will get sucked in a bit if I wash it. Granny |
