I got the idea from a quilt posted from Champagnolle and Alienquilter suggested to frame it with an attic window.
There is no pattern. I went with 6" blocks mainly from quilterscache and the bears are machine applique from allstitching.com. I put an extra piece of batting under each blanket and I like the puffy effect. The stars are a bit crocked but it is the first time I made handapplique and I think it looks charming that way. Sadly the blue top thread from the FMQ came through to the bottom. But the quilt is not washed yet and if i am lucky it will get sucked in a bit if I wash it. My, Oh My...that is absolutely beautiful. I am a teddy bear fanatic and that is a beautiful quilt. I love the different quilt blocks and the bears are sooo cute!

There is no way I could sell the pattern as I dont have a clue how to make one and definately no time to figure it out. And I will put it on the pile for future grandchildren keeping the fingers crossed that will get any!! thanks so much. It means a lot to me as I hardly have any "real" persons around that know what went to it. I also dont have a chance to join other quilters. There is just one place with classes and it is a store. So they will expect one to buy the fabric at their shop - for twice the amount I pay online, batting three times as much.......... |
