Very pretty, great job. Great pattern.

Motorcyclemad 04-15-2013 11:57 AM

Doesn't have to be perfect-just has to be done. You have to practice on something.
It is pretty great! I love the circles.

Looked up the pattern in my issue of F&P and can see why it didn't grab me when I first saw it. There it's done with large bright graphic fabrics and I love your sweet pastel fabrics....they make all the difference to me. The mag one is 40x50.....is yours that size too? it looks like it may be a bit smaller. I do want to do it so will look for fabrics similar to yours. Looked on HL's site to no avail so may not be avail any more. There is one HL left here but it's a bit far and I haven't been driving much. Should ck my stash first but heck, more fun to get new fabric!

I like it a lot! Love the way you have some half circles on the edge and your color choices are really pretty. As the for the quilting, I think you did a great job on both the squiggles and the circles in the dots.

peace

This is darling and a great project to practice FMQ on, too. ( I just made two Sr. lap quilts to practice FMQ on . Bigger than a hotpad, but not so important as a full size quilt.) I love the circles and the colors you choose. Thanks for sharing!

himnherr 04-16-2013 01:49 PM

Wow! I love that!! The colors are beautiful and so is your quilting. I like that you quilted the circles differently.
