I just finished a baby quilt that I am making for a close friend's first grandbaby. Very different from my "straight line" quilts I have made in the past and the first quilt I have made as a gift, (not counting my kids). Also got a wild hair and tried free motion quilting for first time. My squiggles aren't perfect but wasn't sure what to do with the circles. Very relieved it is finished, but please don't look too close....far from perfect. I made a decision years ago that my sewing is for fun and will never be close to perfect.

The pattern ins called "Circles for Paige", it was in the January/February 2013 issue of Fons & Porter Love of Quilting magazine. I found the backing fabric at Hobby Lobby, not sure of name, but along selvage it says Brother Sister Design Studio B53-EW!-P14. Thanks for all your kind words.

how cool. I just made a quilt for myself recently that just has appliqued circles on it. I love the simplicity of it. It's modern and they look so neat. You did a great job on it!!!
