What do you use for sandwiching?

I use double knit fabrics. They are plentiful at the thrift stores and they don't make the runners too lumpy. I want them flat enough to hold a lit candle if that is what the recipient desires. I find the double knit gives a good weight and body.

All very pretty runners, and for a great cause! I HATE cancer!

Pretty runners for a good cause! That's a good idea to use double knit as a batting.
