I'd never really tried sewing curves ... it looked hard ... but I love Drunkard's Path quilts.
It turned out to be WAY easier than I thought! It definitely won't be the last one of these I make! :mrgreen: Here's the throw I made in just a few hours, spread out over 3 days. I used two charm packs (I Believe in Santa and Tidings, both by Nancy Halvorsen/Benartex) and fabric from the Stonehenge Celebration collection. The Stonehenge fabrics are super-shiny with lots of metallic gold. (The gold stripes are some fabric I already had; not sure who made it.) Now to quilt it ... hopefully in time for Christmas! :shock: (Excuse the wrinkles and the chair in the lower right of the photo! :oops: ) |

Moonrise, I have been circle phobic too- but your project is so beautiful- it gives me heart. Maybe I'll try some circles myself one day! Love your color choices and comtemporary look!
