My son's quilt is finished!! (Not my color of choice but he likes the Tennessee Volunteers football team and these are their colors.) Maybe this will keep his mind off of wanting to paint his room orange and white. UGH!!!! This is the largest quilt I've made so far. He has a twin bed but wanted this to be more like a bedspread so it's larger than the usual twin size. While doing this one I learned a lot about fmqing so hopefully I'll remember everything when it's time to do another one. It feels so good when you finish a quilt and can look at the end result. On to the next one. LOL!!!

Nice quilt. |
Looks really good!

Very nice, better to have this color on a bedspread size quilt than on the walls.

Great job! I am going to try stippling my next quilt.

You did a wonderful job! My son, too, is a Vols fan, of course he lives in Knoxville!

Love the design you chose for his team colors. You did a great job and should think the quilt will keep him color happy.

Great job on the freemotion. The quilt looks wonderful. The more freemotion you do the easier and faster it will get.

Well done! I have been praticing FMQ for a couple of weeks and feel as though I may be ready to tackle my first quilt. Hope it turns out as nice as yours!!!!!
|
Fan-tabulous!
|
Good job!
|
Cool quilt! I wouldn't cout on your son not wanting to paint his room anyway even though he has this awesome quilt, he will probably say he has to match the paint color to his new bed spread! LOL I grew up in SEMO Howdy neighbor!

Great job, piecing and quilting. The first one I did fmq on i had to rip most of it out because of lashes on the back, took longer to tear it out than it did to quilt. I got it done though, was told not to start with a full bobbin and it shouldn't do that and the next one didn't so it seems to work

Great work, a fabulous quilt!
