Yes, I can imagine. 1152 strips and 144 2 inch squares.... LOL. I only know that because I just made a king size log cabin quilt for my brother... LOL

Lovely quilt and I would never have guessed it was from scraps! I agree if you use wider strips the king would not take
so long. The chain piece method makes it go faster too!

Thank goodness for chain piecing! This would have taken at least twice as long if I did one square at a time, and a whole lot more thread.
