Very nice. I have a lot of border fabric that would work well for this. Did you use a pattern? The points are so nice and sharp.

Very cute runner. Love the sock feet!!

<sigh> I thought you could use any fabric for borders. So what is border fabric? (So much I don't know.)
I really like the angled shape of your table topper. If you shortened the length, you could do placemats like that. Maybe with unquilted matching napkins. |
Very nice table topper I love the dragon flies and the froggies. RIBIT

relaaaaaaaaaaax, Lisanne. you very definitely can use any fabric you like for borders. it just happens that some fabrics are designed especially for use in borders. others are designed so that the inner print is recommended for piecing, while the sides are great for borders you know will coordinate nicely.
if you start a new topic asking for examples and recommendations for recognizing and selecting "border fabrics" i know you'll get a wealth of advice. :D LBryan, your table topper is a great! Guess who will be stealing this idea the next time she needs a quick-gift idea. |
