This is a quilt pieced by Marlene and she did a beautiful job, pay attention to the cute applique and embroidery work. What a work of art. I had a lot of fun quilting this one freehand on my Long Arm! You can see more on my blog by clicking the link in my signature.

I am curious though...
Your quilting is beautiful as are the quilts you work on. My question is with this much quilting on a quilt, does it make the quilt "stiff" and compromise the "snuggle" factor? Kirsten |

Kirsten The quilts are more stiff but the quilts I quilt are usually for show and not to snuggle with. This particular quilt is a wall hanging. |

The quilting is amazing. The new embroidery possibilites are mind boggling. Our guild made a raffle quilt using those same techniques it turned out fantastic. The girl who longarmed it is an artist like you. She just moved to Texas for her husband's job. We certainly are going to miss her.

Beautiful! This is why I want a true long arm!!! I want to be able to do more elaborate quilting than with my mega quilter on a frame!
