This is absolutely gorgeous. My friends and I were discussing that the U. S. doesn't carry these kind of prints and panels like they once did. I'm printing your quilt so they can see how magnificent it is. You did and excellelnt job.

Wow! Very nice, it should make a lot of money in the raffle.

Thank you all very much. I was so scared the school wouldn't like it but I got an email from the expedition leader who has said the headmaster at Albyn intends for the quilt to be on display in the glass display cabinet in the reception area and that rather than just raffling with cloakroom tickets the school will have tickets printed so they can be sold externally too. Dr Long has suggested he would like the raffle rigged in his favour which I assume means he was really rather delighted with it. :D:thumbup: It will also be featured on the school website and in their quite posh glossy end of term magazine. How cool! I do so hope they raise hundreds because that will buy loads of stuff for the community school in Zambia.

pretty nice quilt

So bright and colorful! Stunning!

Beautiful quilt! I love your fabrics. My thoughts for a temporary sleeve would be to make about four sections of a normal sleeve about two inches wide and hand stitch them on, spaced evenly accross the back.

Beautiful quilt! Love the label too! Best of luck on the raffle.
