I have a bunch of nieces and nephews that are getting gift cards for Christmas and I didn't want to pay for holders for each of them or just stick them in a Christmas card. So, I found a free pattern yesterday on Connecting Threads for gift cards and made them up last night. I even used one of my fancy stitches from my machine. You know the ones you have, but never use. lol

The green ones are for the boys and the red are the girls.

btw, this is the first time I've posted a pic of something I've made. I'll eventually get around to showing the quilt tops I've completed...someday I hope they will be completely quilted.

Thanks for looking.

Becky

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. Unbeknownst to me there is a tutorial on this topic created by janice4. It is much like the one I found on CT. I would post a link to it, but I don't know how. Maybe someone else can chime in and post the link.

Thanks again,
Becky

Everyone is grown-up and gift cards is about all we give anymore. We try to find cards that will be used, but out of the person's normal range of places they go. These holder will be great for the cards. Thanks for sharing.
Merry Christmas!
