Gold Star baby quilt, for a baby boy
 

This is a work in progress, my Gold Star baby quilt in Blue and Yellow. It isn't quilted yet, measures about 43 x 43 inches.

It's very pretty - I love blue and yellow together! What is the significance of the Gold Star? Is the quilt for one of your babies or someone else? Nice job!

Gold Star baby quilt is an adaption of bigger quilt
 

Hi, I was very impressed seeing a photo of a bed sized quilt, comprised of 16-patch scrappy squares, lots of brights with darks. But the Sashing? It looked pure white, and every single Cornerstone had been made into a white star. I cannot give credit to the maker, sorry. But when I decided on a blue and yellow theme for the baby, it needed brightening, and suddenly, making the sashing the same width (4 x 4 inch cut size squares), the Gold Stars just seemed to fit perfectly. To enlarge the overall size, I added a row of the blue squares on all four sides. The back is chambray.

Blue sky and sunshine.....it's why we love these colors. You did a beautiful job. I am sure the mom and dad will love it!!!
