beautiful, thanks for sharing with all of us
what pattern are you using the one block wonder? |
Isn't it amazing how stack n whack and OBW completely transforms some of the most challenging fabrics into great quilts?! Great job. Can't help you with the quilting though.
Wow I just love how you take the ugly and make it BEAUTIFUL! The ladies that do these make me drool!! Great job!
The finished quilt sure is not ugly. Beautiful!!!:)
Do you mind if I ask, but where can I find your fabric print? I had a small piece of red background in this print from another group swap and can never find your fabric print. The cute girls in the background are really sweet. This would be perfect for my granddaughter. Thanks and your work is awesome too!
Beautiful! What an awesome S&W :D:D:D
I have to admit I'm not sure what to think of that fabric. It's cute but then again it's ugly. I'm confused! Anyway I do like what you did with it. Some of them look like snow flakes.
That turned out beautiful. What a transformation.
Beautiful quilt !! Cute fabric !
I would love to have fussy cut the cute little girls from the original fabric but I am not sure they go with Hawaiian cocktails! Cute outcome by the way!!

I like that fabric - not ugly, it was sassy! Now, I have some very ugly fabric around here - Stack and Whack is in my future!
Thanks for the response on the fabric, it's not ugly, it's really cute fabric.

Someone mentioned on another thread that there was a tutorial for how to do this type of quilt block. I looked through all nine pages of topics and couldn't find it - does anyone know what the tutorial is called?
Thanks, Jackie |
Jackie - I think they were probably talking about the One Block Wonder tute 'tip toe through the hexagons'. If you click on search at the top of the page and type in whatever you're interested in, either OBW or stack 'n' whack you'll find all the threads relating to that subject and they will say beside them if they are tutorials. :-)

Wow :-P

Love that fabric....
Love what you did with the fabric. The pattern is magic. It is amazing that the little girls disappeared. Or were they in some of the blocks you didn't use?
Maybe granke's will transform like that also.. It will be interesting to see how it progresses. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-87711-1.htm |
purple butterfly,
You are really made a silk purse out of a sow's ear. This is a wonderful transformation. (Only Helen Keller would like that original fabric.) |
Very nice. Love to see the transformation of fabric to a quilt like this.
I would never guessed that it was from that same piece of fabric! Amazing! Great job!
that is so cool!
Great quilt, and cute fabric!
That is really neat! I love the way you put the small strips of print partially around the blocks! It really pops! Great job!! :D
