How about some snowflakes on a light blue background in either the darker blue color, like the skis/snowboards or even red snowflakes. |

I'd alternate the penquins with solid black and EVERY ONE of the shorts fabrics - or any one of the shorts fabrics that you have enough of. What a happy, happy quilt! Think the striped fabric would be fabulous.
