I'm not sure I'd even use sashing. I'd try just putting them together and calling the quilt "I Like Penguins".

How about some snowflakes on a light blue background in either the darker blue color, like the skis/snowboards or even red snowflakes. |
I love the penguins in swim suits. BTW, the contrast doesn't bother me at all.

Could be 'Summer in Antarctica" or ...in the southern hemisphere ... 'cause that's where they live!
How about ditching the "winter scene" fabric and in every other square just use solid white or a snowflake white-on-white and then QUILT a snowflake motif in those areas... Otherwise, they are cute, cute, CUTE!!!!!!!!! |
