Taking a break for a minute, maybe have lunch. Need to run to Walmart for a few things too (excuses, excuses). I got the second row and the first sashing strip done so I can sew the two rows together. Also cut 10 more WOF strips of the ivory. It sure is going slow and I need to cut some ivory off the bolt and get it washed. Will have to figure up how much more I need so I don't cut off more than necessary. Still need to cut the long piece for the borders.

If I can get off my behind and stop wasting time!!

those are great blocks. it's so funny you talk about some colors being too close to each other.
i laid out 36 blocks on my bed and picked them up and took them down and sewed together. now i have three pink ones together. i swear they weren't that way on my bed!

It seems to always happen, no matter how careful you try to be, something always goes together wrong! For me anyway.

What I am doing is that while they are on the wall I use my blue marking pin and I put one dot on the edge of the first block, two dots on the second, etc. etc. Then when I take them to the machine I don't have to worry about keeping everything in perfect order, just look at the dots.
