Still working on the Never Ending Quilt! Yesterday I finished 24 of the blocks, there are 48 total, and sewed a row together. The pieces are all cut and ready to make the HSTs for the side sections of the other 24 blocks and then they're ready to assemble.

Always good to take a picture and look at it. I see that there are too many light/blue in the second and third row down. And that there are two pinkish HSTs ones in line with each other in the 3rd row. I'll need to adjust that...

I want to see it finished too!! I haven't worked on it in weeks because I was just too tired of doing the same thing over and over and I wouldn't let myself work on anything else (start another one).

When I did a test block it came out a smidgen under the 9 1/4" unfinished size so I adjusted the needle over 2 clicks. The next test block came out exactly right but what that did was make the points float a tiny bit. That's OK, I guess. Better than cutting them off.

I haven't trimmed or squared any of the blocks. I use a hard pressing surface and I drew a 9 1/4" square in pencil on the board so when I press the blocks I make sure they are the size of the square. There may be TINY differences but when the sashing is sewn on (and the sashing pieces are the correct size), it makes the blocks conform to that size so I'm not fussing with a bunch of measuring and squaring up each one.
