What a great quilt! Very colorful. I am with you on being a 'dead duck' if coping a quilt from a picture will get me in trouble!
|
Thank you, Kathy, such a cheery quilt. I love it.
|
In your photo the borders look "fuzzy" -- did you use chenille or some type of terrycoth for them? Whatever it is, it gives dimension to the daisies and adds so much to your design.

I will email you a picture of the back. I found the neatest fabric at Walmart that has little daisies all over, perfect for this quilt. |
KathyAire-what is signature thread? Something for a quilting machine?

This quilt is so bright and cheery! I did a positive/negative snowflake quilt this year and it was a lot of fun. I have been looking for another one to make. Do you mind if I make one too?
|

I love it. Did you just do it? You're fast.

I made three (tops, not entire quilts) of them this weekend, for AZBlankets4Kids, my charity work. They provide quilts for kids in crises of one type or another, and are about 40" by 55".

Judy,
Your Daisy quilt is so good it deserves it's own topic. All the people that have already looked at this one, will miss it. Send it again and call it 'Another Daisy Quilt' so everyone can see it. |

I, also, kept hearing mention of copyright laws, but could not make heads or tails, of the legalese. I was thrilled when I received the Sept/Oct 2010 issue of McCall's Quilting magazine the other day in the mail. Those kind folks have distilled the law into easily understandable English, with regard to patterns, for those of us who need to know. I would encourage all of you to read it for your own 'piece' of mind. Good work all of you!
