Both are good, how about a mixture of both, what would that look like?

I LOVE the D9P and the fabric you are using!! My younger sister has requested a quilt and I was looking for the perfect block to use and I think I found it. If you don't mind me asking....what are the measurements for the d9p? Where can I find this block pattern?

You can use any size block. I did a doll quilt with orginal(the straight 9 patch) single block size of 2.5 inches and the purple one in this thread I think was 4.5 in blocks.
