You are doing a fantastic job! I would have just made a new quilt using the largest pieces of the old quilt. It looks like it must have gone camping and to the beach a few too many times.

I TRULY APPRECIATE ALL THE ENCOURAGEMENT!! I am doing this on my vacation. I will post the finished quilt when I'm done as it's going to take some time. I go back to work on Monday. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT!!!:)

You have done an amazing job. I would not have known where to begin.

You have done a truly amazing job on this quilt. I would love to see it when you are finished with it. You must feel so proud of a job well done.

Are you kidding me? How in the world did it get in this condition? He's lucky he found you - I could NEVER have taken this on.

When I saw picture 1 my first thought was "no way". You certainly have taken on a huge challenge and done wonders with the quilt!

I am astounded that you (1) took this on and (2) made a success of it. Good job!

That was obviously a much loved quilt. I love it when my grandkids quilts look like that BUT I don't try to salvage them.
Kudos to you. Good job!

I saw one about this bad when I was at my son's house over the holidays. It was a quilt I made for my grandson about 24 yrs. ago. If it hadn't been hand quilted it would have been this bad. I didn't see how I could save it.
