Where did you find the pink elephant fabric -- it's adorable!

All of the fabric came from my local Jo Ann's :-) That's not a very good pic because I took it with my junky phone but there is also a little green bird by a few of the elephants.

The 3 yard, 3 blanket thing sounds pretty cool. I'll have to check it out.

If I do the DP9, how big should I make the blocks? (before I turn them into the 9 patch) I want to make sure that the patterns still come through.

I think a pinwheel would be adorable, and half square triangles are so easy!

Oh, oh, oh, or how about a zig zag...there is a wonderful tutorial here (without having to make half square triangles)

Yep, but they are girly skulls LMAO. My sister has a pretty good sense of humor when it comes to stuff like that. She's a huge Nightmare before Christmas fan.

Oh, yes they are.

IHO, if you purchase additional fabric you should consider getting at least one coordinating deeper color solid or blender for contrast.
